AKAI ITO (Red thread)
by Makiko harRis
at ME LONDON
ARTIST: MAKIKO HARRIS
The exhibition "Akai Ito" (Red Thread) showcasing the work of Makiko Harris at Me London and curated by Gone Rogue, delves into the intricate web of connections that define the human experience. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese concept of "Akai Ito," which symbolises the invisible red thread that connects individuals across time and space, Harris's work offers a vibrant exploration of these unseen ties.
Curated by Gone Rogue, this exhibition at Me London is more than a display of art—it's a sensory journey that invites viewers to contemplate the invisible connections that bind us all. "Akai Ito" is a powerful exploration of the ties that weave us into the grand tapestry of life, offering a unique lens through which to view our own relationships and experiences.

ESTELLE RODRIGUEZ
ABSTRACT ARTIST
Estelle Rodriguez is an abstract artist from Belgium. She creates sophisticated paintings on plexiglass by using acrylic paints and epoxy resin. As a very emotional person, art has always been a place where Estelle could live her emotions fully and feel free. By feeling often misunderstood, art became her language to communicate with people and to make them feel their emotions more deeply.
NEW AURIC FIELD
BY LAUREN BAKER
The aura is an electromagnetic energy field that is the bridge between our spiritual and physical body. When it comes to the blending of colours, I am inspired by Hilma af Klint’s use of colour to depict spiritual dimensions, and Rothko’s blending of hues to evoke emotional depth. Each canvas starts with listening to sound frequencies whilst painting… this time at 741 Hz, and the sound really informs the energy and the hues of colour. It is believed, the 741 Hz Solfeggio tone furthers the connection to intuition and truth.
